ROAR for Good

This project involved the development of a mission-critical safety platform, AlwaysOn, designed to protect staff in large-scale hospitality and residential environments. The solution combines discreet wearable hardware with a robust cloud-based monitoring system.

The product was built on the principle of "Quiet Security." While the technology is high-powered and life-saving, the physical and digital design remains sleek, unobtrusive, and professional. It transforms a facility into a "Smart Protected Zone," where every corner of a property is mapped digitally to provide instant, room-level location accuracy during emergencies. This is the gold standard for high-end operators who prioritize the well-being of their team as highly as the comfort of their guests

Our Contribution

Our team spearheaded the digital transformation of this safety mission, focusing on the seamless link between hardware and cloud:

● Mobile-First Response Hub: We developed the mobile application infrastructure that serves as the primary interface for security responders, ensuring critical alerts reach the right person in under 2 seconds.

● Precision Geofencing: We implemented a sophisticated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and mesh-network logic to ensure 100% floor-and-room accuracy, even in complex architectural environments where GPS fails.

● Invisible Onboarding: We focused on a frictionless user experience for staff, ensuring that the technology is "wear-and-forget" until the moment it is needed, requiring zero complex configuration from the end-user.

Core Technologies

The platform required a stack capable of "Zero-Failure" performance:

● IoT & Connectivity: Advanced integration of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and proprietary mesh networking for real-time indoor positioning.

● Backend: A high-availability Node.js environment designed for ultra-low latency event processing and instant push notifications.
